In many ways, Bond Street Consultants is a business that is based on my strengths and passions.


For me, every case is a fresh opportunity to use my skills and judgement to produce income into the business. I am motivated not by wealth but by a need to succeed and to be the best. I want to deliver services that are considered the best within the various sectors that Bond Street operates in. Military service built on my leadership qualities and developed my love of team work. 35 years of playing competitive sport, introduced a desire for success. A love of writing and storytelling has given me a curious mind, I want to know the in's and out's of everything. I combine these attributes to deal and work with people in a confident and calm manner. 


When I left the Army in 1977, I worked in road transport, eventually forming my own small company, I believe that it was the first to use the word "Logistics" in its name. The pitfalls of the road transport industry of increasing costs and decreasing rates, led me into what was described at the job interview as "Financial Recovery" when in fact I was recruited as a Bailiff, enforcing Magistrates Liability Orders for unpaid Community Charge. I was Certificated for 20 years, working throughout the country, specialising in Commercial Rent recovery. As so often is the case, valuations, auctions and process serving, ran alongside my core activity of enforcement. 


In October 2010, I formed Bond Street Consultants with my co-director Roger Belton. We had both supplied consultancy services to a south coast based auction house. I was mainly managing liquidation sales and valuations and Roger handled the finances. Bond Street was initially formed to deliver Process Serving and Field Visits for a National Utility client of one of the largest law firms in the country. We also supplied enforcement for Commercial Rents and High Court Writs locally.


When the chance to conduct a valuation for an Insolvency Practitioner presented itself, I had to step forward and meet the challenge. Here was an opportunity, to put everything, all of my experience and knowledge to the test. 


Bond Street is built on a foundation, that starts with the premise of "I am your agent, what do you want me to do". 


I treat people as I would like people to treat me. Every job gets the same level of service, it could be serving a Statutory Demand or the sale of a multi million pound turnover business. The range of valuations I have made include the planning permission for a wind turbine, right through to a complete clothing retailer. 


My interests as well as writing, include, being a Director of Hull City Official Supporters Club and Scuba Diving. 


I am a Full Member of The Association of British Investigators, a member of the Civil Enforcement Agents Association, the Chartered Credit Managers Association and the SAGE accountancy club.
